Athena Strategies President and former PA Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar was the inaugural speaker for The Washington Center’s Inside Washington program in January 2023. She spoke about her career dedicated to election security and democracy and the critical importance of magnifying civic engagement. About 300 students and faculty, representing 24 states, 36 colleges, and 40% first generation college students, packed into the conference room to discuss this year’s crucial focus– the State of our Democracy.
