This week is National Voter Education Week, and it’s never been so critical as now for all of us to help share accurate information about elections! Today we’ll start with an excellent short video from the PA Department of State and County Election officials in PA.
This video explains in clear, simple terms how voting is secured in #Pennsylvania, including voter registration processes, the security guardrails in place for mail ballots, cybersecurity standards and public testing of voting systems, how ballots are canvassed, counted, and audited twice, and more, all before any results are certified.
Thanks to the incredibly comprehensive processes in place in PA and around the country, all of us can have confidence that our ballots are cast and counted securely and accurately – and sharing these videos can help more voters learn about all that is involved in protecting our vote.
