Thank you to the American Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association for hosting a great Law Day event at the National Constitution Center called Taking the Next Step: Ensuring Trusted Elections and Civics for Pennsylvanians. Athena Strategies President Kathy Boockvar was honored to be a panelist alongside many election and legal professionals and leaders at the local, state, and national level. It was especially a privilege to hear the perspectives of highly respected former federal Judge J. Michael Luttig and former Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, the co-chairs of the ABA Task Force for American Democracy.
ABA Law Day included programs focused on addressing key issues facing our democracy, such as strengthening trust in elections and improving civic dialogue. Athena Strategies is proud to support the ABA in advancing public understanding of how our elections work, increasing support for election officials, and encouraging all citizens to participate.
