Kathy Boockvar recently spoke with CNN about wide-ranging election topics in Pennsylvania and across the country.
Boockvar emphasized the security and integrity of our election processes. She noted that our elections are run at the local level by trusted community members, our systems are protected by robust cybersecurity measures, and we have two different post-election audits to confirm that the election results are accurate.
In addition, they discussed the courts’ repeated rejection of the many false claims and conspiracy theories we are still hearing, as well as concerns about USPS delays. Relating to the postal service issues, Boockvar said the most important message to voters should be to be proactive: “Don’t wait until the last second to apply for your ballot.”
