CISA – De-Escalation Series for Critical Infrastructure
The De-Escalation Series for Critical Infrastructure works to assist and train stakeholders to recognize the warning signs for someone on a path to violence, identify stressors, changes in behavior, and observable indicators; assess the situation to protect personal safety and the safety of those around and identify warning signs; de-escalate the situation currently taking place if safe to do so and obtain help immediately if needed; and report the situation through appropriate reporting structures, including calling 911 for immediate threats.
