CISA Physical Security Advisor (PSA) Program

Within each CISA Region are local and regional Protective Security Advisors (PSAs). PSAs are based in the community, are subject matter experts in critical infrastructure, and are trusted partners of government officials. The PSA program has regional offices and PSAs serving in 73 districts in 50 states and U.S. territories, directly supporting the security and resilience of critical infrastructure including elections.

PSAs provide many services to support the safety and security of election officials, including site security surveys and vulnerability assessments, recommendations, training, and remediation and other assistance to state and local governments. They also advise and assist officials with incident response should there be circumstances of of threat, disruption, or attack.
