The Future US and Issue One have launched the nationwide AI + Election Security Coalition to combat AI threats to our democracy & harness “AI for good.”
Athena Strategies President Kathy Boockvar is proud to serve as a Senior Advisor to The Future US and will co-lead the Coalition with Daniel B. Prieto, former Director for Cybersecurity Policy at the National Security Council. The Coalition will unite a diverse group of stakeholders from technology companies, civil society groups, think tanks, and other institutions to better coordinate action, support our election infrastructure, and rapidly identify needed interventions and opportunities to safeguard the democratic process.
“Election officials are working tirelessly to ensure the highest standards of election security amidst too-few resources,” said Kathy. “We need a whole-of-society approach to help them and voters prepare for these rapid tech developments.”
